The following artist are the (corazon & alma) heart and soul of Bill Summers & Los Hombres C.

“Maurice Brown is one of the most exciting young trumpeters in jazz—be it New Orleans or New York. His improvisations are fresh, his chops dynamic and he’s writing what could very well become a new generation of hard-bop-meets-new-grooves standards,” wrote Jason Koransky, editor for DownBeat Magazine.

Christian Sands
Christian Sands is a dynamic pianist with extraordinary musical ability. George Benson Christian has the two most important ngredients for success "music that sounds good and feels good"

Jamal is by far one of my favorite drummers. When his brother Russel could not make a gig he said call my little brother and I have been calling him since. Jamal studied with me at the Summers Multi Ethnic Institute of Arts where he displayed the ability to absorb and retain the extensive rhythmic vocabulary necessary to perform with Los Hombres C. He has been a member of the group for four years and will be with me far into the future. jmbatiste@yahoo.com

Edwin Livinston, bassist extraordinaire, has been with Los Hombres for most of its existense. Recording on 4 out of 5 of the groups recording projects. For me, he is an indepensible entity.
Edwin has played and recorded with many notable artists and masters. Edwin has performed and or recorded with: Elvin Jones, Ellis, Delfeayo, and Jason Marsalis, The Headhunters, Los Hombres Calientes(Grammy nominated Latin Jazz album), Donald Harrison and many more.
Born and reared in New Orleans, the cradle of jazz, and an evacuee from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Devin Phillips’ intense affair with the saxophone began at the age of eight. At 14, he was accepted into the prestigious New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. Performing, touring and recording with top jazz artists, such as Wynton Marsalis, Eddie Palmieri, The Headhunters, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, musician Lenny Kravitz, and Los Hombres Caliente (with whom he recorded two award-winning albums) soon followed.
